  2. Eat a balanced diet and limit food and drinks with sugar, salt, carbohydrates or saturated fats
  3. Check your mouth regularly or gum disease and signs of oral cancer
  4. Limit alcohol, and avoid smoking, smokeless tobacco and vaping
  5. Keep your mouth clean by brushing twice a day and flossing every day
