Here are 5 steps for good oral health:
- See your dentist regularly
- Eat a balanced diet and limit food and drinks with sugar, salt, carbohydrates or saturated fats
- Check your mouth regularly or gum disease and signs of oral cancer
- Limit alcohol, and avoid smoking, smokeless tobacco and vaping
- Keep your mouth clean by brushing twice a day and flossing every day
